ZMS is the next generation mobile messaging. It's a smart multimedia message that uses the benefits of geo-location and time. You can send and receive ZMS from your smartphone
ZMS is the smart and easy way to communicate everyday, at the right time in the right place. It is smarter than SMS and much cheaper than MMS.
ZMS is:
From the Map tab:
Choose a location, stay pushed 2 seconds on the screen to drop a balloon on this location.
Select "Drop a ZMS here",type or insert the content you'd like to add and choose the contact you'd like to send it to. You can also add a specific time to your message by clicking on the "Z" icon on the left of the writing tab, choosing "Timed message". Click "Share".
From your contact list:
Choose a contact you'd like to send the ZMS to, select "Send a ZMS", type or insert the content you'd like to add, click on the "Z" icon on the bottom left, select "Geo-located" on the menu, pick a location, stay pushed 2 seconds and drop a balloon on this location. Click "Share."Z"
You can also send simple text and multimedia content (without geo-location or time) by selecting a contact, type or insert the content you'd like to add and clicking on "Share".
ZMS is free, free to download and free to use. It is sent over data hence included in your mobile Internet subscription.
As well as text, you can send multimedia contents (pictures, links, videos...). You can also geo-locate and/or time your message in a specific location and/or at a specific time.

A public ZMS is a message that you drop on your current location and that can be read by all ZMS users in your area. About a restaurant, a concert, a movie...
You can send a public ZMS from your smartphone in two different ways
From the Map tab:
Stay pushed 2 seconds and drop a balloon on your actual location.
Click on "Drop a ZMS here", write/choose your content and select "PUBLIC" in your ZMS contacts list. Then simply click "Share".
From your contact list:
Select "PUBLIC" in your ZMS contacts list click on "Send a ZMS", write/choose your content, click on the "Z" icon in the bottom left, choose "Geo located message" on the menu, stay pushed 2 seconds and drop a balloon on your location. The simply click "Share".
You can scan all public ZMS available around you using the "Radar" tab. You can even participate to a public ZMS. i.e of a public ZMS conversation: "Best raclette ever in the restaurant around the corner" "And the Fondue...no words to describe it!" "They changed the Menu for Winter: Raclette à volonté!!"....
You can download the ZMS application on your phone from our website and from the Apple app store for now. ZMS will soon be available on Android marketplace.
The ZMS application is totally free to download and to use (Included in mobile operator data connection).
You can send ZMS messages only to ZMS users. If your contact doesn’t use ZMS, the application will automatically propose you to send a SMS* with text (without any multimedia content) and a link to download the app.
Your contact will be able to see all the ZMS conversation if he/she downloads the application.

There is no size limit for a ZMS, neither for text characters nor for medias contents. However, you might want to send smaller or larger ZMS based on the capacity of your mobile Internet subscription or your ability to access wifi.

You can send ZMS messages only to ZMS users. However, you will need an available mobile number to receive your ZMS validation code and be notified of the contact who sent you the ZMS. After entering your validation code, you'll be able to enjoy all ZMS features on your tablet.

You can send text messages, pictures, links, sounds, music or videos.
ZMS text size is not limited, like for an email .
When the ZMS app will ask you for your password, tap on the "Forgot password" link on the bottom.
To recover your password, you can do it 2 different ways:
1. If you have provided an email address, you will receive an email with a recovery code that you will have to input in the app
2. If you didn't have provided your email address, you will receive a recovery code by SMS
For your data safety, we recommend you to provide your email address on your ZMS profile
Yes. If you don't have any network access, the ZMS will be send and/or receive as soon as you recover access to a network (3G, Edge, Wifi). Although, be careful, when you're travelling, your phone data roaming had to be activated or you should be connected to wifi to keep on receiving ZMS.
You can send a ZMS to any phones. However, if your contact doesn't have the ZMS application, he/she will receive a simple SMS where text only will be displayed, without the content (would it be images, video or more.) Your contact will be able to see all the ZMS conversation if he/she downloads the application.
Yes. Your ZMS account is independent from your phone and ZMS are stored in the cloud. By entering your phone number and password, you'll be able to recover all your ZMS.

If you change your phone, you can recover your ZMS account and all your ZMS history by re-downloading the application and re-entering your former phone number password. Then, you will be able to use and access your former ZMS account.
Your ZMS account is dependant from your phone number and ZMS are stored in the cloud. If you change it, you would have to re-download the app and create a new ZMS account. In a future feature, the ZMS app will be able to support more than one phone number for only one ZMS account. Coming soon. Stay tuned!
Yes. You can access them on the "ZMS list" tab. It shows you all your ZMS conversations from the oldest one to the newest (like in Gmail.)
Yes. With or without geolocation:
You can only share public ZMS on Facebook using the "Settings" Menu upper right on the ZMS you're about to share. Twitter sharing is coming soon. Stay tuned,!

No. You can only send ZMS to phone numbers. You can send ZMS to tablets but they need to be associated to a mobile phone number (smartphone not mandatory.)
Yes. You can send a ZMS to one person, several and even to your entire address book. You can even send a public ZMS to all ZMS users.
Yes. Simply make sure that your contact phone number includes an international prefix, i.e: +336 12 34 56 78, +49..., +41, +34

If you switch off the location service on your iPhone, you will not be able to receive private geo located ZMS but you still be able to send one. You will still be able to send text or multimedia messages. On the other hand, you won't be able neither to receive nor to send Public ZMS.
We do not offer profile pictures at the moment. Our application uses existing pictures of your contacts in your phone address book.
The application img-tech-bottom.pngis only available in English and French for the time being. Other languages will be added soon. Stay tuned!
We’re doing our best to provide you with the best app possible but it could happen that the application doesn’t work on jailbreak phones. The best solution in this case is to desinstall and re-install the app to start using ZMS.
If you are a new ZMS user, you will be able to enjoy ZMS after entering your phone number and password.
If you were a ZMS user, you will recover all your ZMS history by entering you phone number and password.

There are several reasons that can explain that you don’t receive the Push notifications:
1. Push notifications are deactivated in your iPhone settings:
- Open your Settings menu
- Go to the Notifications menu
- Select the ZMS application
- Your ZMS Badges, Sounds & Banners notification have to be activated. If not, just activate them.
- Restart you phone. Be careful, you have to switch off your iPhone during 30 seconds to activate the chance
2. In case it still doesn’t work after that AND you’re connected to a WIFI network:
- contact your network operator to confirm that your 5223/TCP port is not blocked by WIFI firewall
3. If you still haven’t received any notifications, reinstall the app.
Special note ONLY for those who have an unlocked iPhone that has never been activated with Apple via iTunes: to learn more about your push notification problem, simply google for « push+fix+iphone ».
It could happen for different reasons:
- Your mobile operator network is not available.
- You might not have entered the right phone number (including the international code)
If it could be one of those reasons, wait 15 min and retry to enter your mobile phone number. If you’re still not receiving your ZMS, contact us at support@inzair.com
It could happen for different reasons:
To easily access your contacts in your ZMS address book, you need to synchronise it with your own address book. Go to the “More” menu, select contacts then synchronize.

No. Our database can only be understood by a computer and we will never share your private information.
No. When you choose Private or Public at the beginning, all your ZMS conversation will maintain the same status, even if you can add your private contacts to a private conversation, at anytime.
We need it temporarily to localize you and allow you to see private and public geo-located ZMS around you. We never keep your position in our database once you've received your ZMS.
In order to avoid spam ZMS, your phone number is your unique ID and a guarantee to have a "physical" person behind a ZMS account
No. This information is only available for an hour to the person who asked you and not to everyone.
